📜 Introduction

Sudokians is a sudoku game that can be played offline. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used. This is a placeholder policy and will be finalized before publishing to the Play Store.

📂 Information We Collect

Most gameplay in Sudokians happens entirely on your device — puzzles, progress, and preferences are stored locally. If you choose to use optional online features (such as Quick Match, Private Match, tournaments, or leaderboards), we may collect:

• A display name or profile identifier you choose
• Gameplay statistics needed to show scores and rankings (e.g. completion time, difficulty played, match results)
• Coin balances and tournament entries, used to run coin-pool tournaments and leaderboards
• Basic device/technical information needed to keep multiplayer sessions working correctly

⚙️ How We Use It

Any information collected is used solely to provide app functionality — saving your progress, showing leaderboards, running matches and tournaments, and tracking coin balances. We do not sell your data.

💾 Data Storage & Offline Play

Sudokians is designed to be played offline. Local game state (boards, timers, settings) is stored only on your device. Online features are optional and only send the minimum data required for them to work.

📢 Advertising

Sudokians generates revenue through advertising, but ads are never shown during an active puzzle or match. Ads only appear outside of gameplay — for example on menu screens between matches. We may work with third-party ad networks to serve these ads, which may collect limited technical or advertising identifiers (such as a device advertising ID) in order to display and measure ads. This data is handled by the ad network's own privacy policy and is not linked to your in-game gameplay data.

🤝 Third-Party Services

Sudokians may use third-party infrastructure (such as Firebase) to support multiplayer, leaderboard, and tournament features, and third-party ad networks to serve advertising outside of gameplay. These providers process data only as needed to deliver those features.

🧒 Children's Privacy

Sudokians does not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is required for basic gameplay features described above.
